Become a Vendor!

We need arts, crafts, education, conservation, wildlife, and food vendors for our 2018 Swan Days Festival. The commercial vendor fee is only $25. There is no charge for nonprofit organizations that desire to exhibit.

Vendor applications are available from our vendor coordinator, Jan Moore, at (252) 385-1826, or by emailing Jan at <>.

All food and beverage vendors must comply with the fees and application deadline set by the Hyde County Health Department to serve food or beverages at the festival. For more information, contact them at (252) 926-4200, or by email at <>. The Health Department website is <>.


GEORGIA DENTON WARREN, author of the novel, “Winter Symphony on Lake Mattamuskeet: A Love Story,” will be a vendor at the Swan Days Festival. Come prepared to take home copies of Georgia’s book for yourself and for holiday presents for others.

JOAN SEARS of Gull Rock in Hyde County is widely known for her artwork and art classes. She will be on hand as a vendor at the Swan Days Festival. Plan now to attend the festival and take home some of her outstanding work.

JEANNIE DOZIER of Rocky Mount specializes in stained glass art. There are several steps in completing a stained glass project: cutting the glass, grinding the edges to match the pattern, foiling, soldering, washing, and then, finally, waxing. Jeannie is a master of each of these steps. Come to the Swan Days Festival prepared to buy her artwork for yourself and for Christmas presents.

HANK BERRY of Nitty Gritty Paracord of Scranton, NC, will return as a vendor for the Swan Days Festival. Hank makes interesting bracelets, necklaces, dog collars, and a variety of other neat crafts from paracord. We are pleased to have him on our Swan Days team. Come prepared to buy some of his items for yourself and for Christmas gifts.

DEL TOLAN , a lifelong resident of Belhaven, NC, area, will be vendor at the Swan Days Festival. After retiring as a building contracting, he turned his love for woodworking into art. Through his new business, “Nautical Things,” he carves fish and other maritime images. His work will enhance the beauty of any home. Come prepared to take home some of Del’s work for yourself and for holiday gifts.


CATHY CLAYTON of the Ponzer Community in Hyde County has been developing her art skills using wood burning for about 18 years. Her beautiful creations are intricate and unique. She also creates original artwork in etched glass. Both media require patience and attention to detail. Cathy also teaches at MATTIE Arts Center in Swan Quarter.

JAN MOORE of Hyde County will be a craft vendor at the festival. She works in polymer clay and seashells. Polymer Clay is the new version of Bakelite; each piece is an original and one of a kind. Bowls are just one of the many items that can be made using polymer clay. The seashell creations are made from shells her father-in-law collected for many years and they were left to her with the instructions to make use of them and not let them sit. She is now creating one-of-a-kind beach art pieces like her husband and his family did as a family activity 30 years ago.

ELIZABETH GURGANUS of Hyde County, NC, will be a vendor at the festival, offering her beautiful, creative, and unique handmade fabric handbags and bowls. These would make colorful enhancements to your own home decor or great Christmas gifts.


JOHN CORBETT of Belhaven will be at the festival showing and selling his custom-made birdhouses. Come to the festival and buy a birdhouse for your own use or for a Christmas gift. Please support each of our vendors. They help us make the Swan Days Festival a success.

ROBBIN BRILEY of Beaufort County, NC is a local educator and artist/owner of DEVINELY ARTISTIC CREATIONS. She will be a vendor with us again this year offering acrylic and watercolor original artwork, handcrafted greeting cards, bookmarks, handcrafted jewelry and much more. As an educator for the last 21 years she pulls inspiration for her designs from her love of nature, science education, and geology background. Robbin's home studio is in the Grimesland area and you can explore her portfolio at  <>. Please come out and support all of our vendors at this wonderful event.

STUART WILLIARD will be at the 2018 Swan Days Festival at Mattamuskeet NWR on December 8, representing the North Carolina Wood Duck Program and the Albemarle Sound Delta Waterfowl Chapter. Plan now to attend and support this nonprofit educational vendor.


SWAN DAYS T-SHIRTS will be available at the festival. the picture of Swans over Mattamuskeet Lodge on the back of each T-shirt is a reprint of a Duane Raver original, created to promote the festival. Raver is a renowned wildlife artist who for many years created the covers for North Carolina Wildlife Magazine. T-shirt sales helps support the marketing cost of the festival and each time you wear your shirt, you help us spread the work about this fun event. Come prepared to buy T-shirts for yourself and everyone in your group. They will also make great Christmas gifts!


BILL'S HOT DOGS of Washington is returning to the 2018 Swan Days Festival. Bill’s Hot Dogs is a legend. Bill Jackson opened Bill’s in 1928. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks are all they have ever served and they are still serving the original chili recipe. Last year it was rainy and cold at the festival, and they saved the day with their delicious hot chocolate. Make your plans to come to the festival and eat a legendary hot dog as only Bill's can make it.


THE SWAN DAYS PLANNING COMMITTEE will be selling numbered prints of Duane Raver's painting, Swans over Mattamuskeet. Raver is one of the premier wildlife artists of North Carolina. He has been drawing and painting wildlife for about seventy years. The prints are $25. Plan now to buy your for yourself and for Christmas gifts.

MATTHEW MOLT PHOTOGRAPHY will have a booth in the gym at Mattamuskeet School to display and sell his beautiful nature photographs. Matthew will also be conducting a nature photography workshop the day of the festival, beginning at 6:30 A.M. at the Charles Kuralt Observation Platform on NC 94. Our Creations

OUR CREATIONS and Glaussia Hubers of Pinetown will be a vendor at the 2018 Swan Days Festival. Their products are 100% handmade by local artisans from Masaya, Nicaragua, Central America. Our Sunshine purses are made with top grain leather and canvas, and part of the profit goes to the foundation for premature babies in Nicaragua. They also have sandals, solid wood trivets and hammocks. They have their own coffee, “Mombachito,” from another of their projects called "Farmer to Farmer." The photos below only represent a few of the products they will display at the festival. Come prepared to purchase their products and benefit the artisans of Nicaragua. EAST COAST WINGS & GRILL will be a food vendor at the festival. They offer a variety of food, starting with their famous wings! Jared Lucas and his brother bought into this franchise 10 ago, and now they have 5 locations in eastern NC. Bring your appetite and come out for the festival.

Kids Styles, Dresses & Coverups, Skirts, Tops, and Leggings.

Through LuLaRoe, Linda Woolard provides an exclusive clothing line designed to fit women of all ages, sizes, and shapes. LuLaRoe clothing is sold at pop-up boutiques, private online shopping groups, and other events, such as festivals. Each item is made in very limited quantities, so what you see at the Swan Days Festival may not be available later.

HEIKE BRANDT WINFIELD, owner-operator at WINBRANDT CREATIONS AND COMPANY, will be a vendor at the 2018 Swan Days Festival on December 8. Heike is an artist, frame maker, craftsperson, and gallery owner. Winbrandt Creations and Company is a unique Gallery of Fine Art by local Artisans. She also offer Custom Framing on site. She has a gallery in Belhaven and a second showroom in Arlington Village in Greenville. Beautiful work!!!…
